(Of Death)

(Of Death)

A Poem by Light

I line the bulbous crowd
To catch a glimpse (of death)
For nothing entertains
Quite like a wreck

The derailed,
Decapitated, damned
And the dead are
The marquee players
In the this final act
So stand and clap.
Applause for macabre
No reverent heads in sight

Lift your eyes for
The grand finale.
As Death bows
Then exits stage right
