Heartstrings

Heartstrings

A by Brandon Hontz

I love the way you reach down my throat,
and pull my heart straight out.
I love the way you tug the strings,
and make my emotions shout.
I love the way you make me tingle
even when we're barely touching.
I love not ever havnig to worry
about how much that you really love me.

It's funny, the scenes in between our dreams
the compromise that we put together to make it what we want it to be.
Comfortable at the least, shouting glory like a beast.
Showing affection through tiny kisses on the cheek.
Talking about 4 times a day at the least.
Taking everyday as the gift our lives will never cease.

So, you know i'm trying not to worry,
and just letting love develop our story.
I am trying hard, for you, and for me.
I'm hoping for a fabulous history.
All these constant mysteries
are lifting me out of my misery.
So thanks a lot for helping me,
and cleaning up this mess for me.

When I read the first two lines, I was 100% sure this was a horror story. Seriously, that's terrifying. I would reword that somehow to make it more romantic.
