What I Have Truly Meant

What I Have Truly Meant

A Poem by Brandon Hontz
"

Short and sweet.

"

Bright sunlights,
and early fights.
The worm for the bird,
much like the day for the night.
The day after was never as good as the night before, though.
The times that never made me feel farther, yet closer to alone.
Now i'm just drinking my morning ailments away,
stuttering often to fill up the days,
and the funny thing is every page is just goanna be my life being relayed,
and once I leave all these things here,
there's nothing I can do,
and I hope you remember me for what I have been,
what I have truly meant to you.
