The First and the Last

The First and the Last

A Chapter by Braja69
"

This is it, the whole short book.

"
A list of problems of what is wrong with the world today, is not so much a list of
problems, as it is a list of reasons, as it is a list of solutions. Just as there is a yang for
every yin, there is a solution for EVERY problem. The greatest harmonious balance that
can be achieved for mankind, is for mankind to themselves be harmonious, united, for
the good of all their brethren, which is in fact... all of humanity.

One of the first obstacles that must be overcome to achieve heaven on earth, is the
realization that we are all in the same boat. We are all here, now, in this life, together. If
there is anything, and I mean ANYTHING, wrong with the world you see around you
today, yesterday or tomorrow, guess what? It is our doing. Do not blame God for these
things, for these are solely our own shameful achievements. Believe it or not, any list you
can come up with as to what is wrong with the world today, can be changed, right here,
right now. All that is required, is for humanity itself, to recognize within theIr heart, the
problems in front of us, and take action as a unified people.

What or who is to stop us? If all of humanity could agree that for instance, poverty is
wrong.... what or who could possibly stop us from fixing it? No one, that's who. NO ONE!
The greatest downfall of man as it stands right now, even above greed, is his lack of
understanding of this very simple principle alone.

"Read Between the Lines"

No matter what race, religion, sex, age or anything else that we define to separate
ourselves, the fact is that we are all human. And being as such, there are certain
commonalities that we ALL share. These are all good and simple things that actually
unite us all.

Such as hopes, dreams and fears. These things are the very essence of what it is to be
human, and they are all basically the same thing for everybody everywhere. This alone is
such a powerful thing that should not be overlooked or forgotten. These things, even the
fears, (maybe especially the fears), are the very things that could put us on that very first
step, united, on the path to heaven on earth.

This is such a powerful notion is it not? United we stand, divided we fall. It is the
commonalities that will unite us. It is the diversity that will sustain us.

Quite literally right now, we are all insane. If insanity is doing the same thing, over and
over, expecting different results each time, then are we not crazy? Why do we stand, or
better yet sit, for all of the things wrong with this world today? I will tell you why,
because we feel powerless. Why do we feel powerless? Because we are. And lastly, why are
we powerless? You know the answer already don't you? Because we are divided....

Maybe you feel like it's the governments fault for a lot of the problems of the world? With
their greedy interests and use of force to make people comply to what they want to happen.
Yes it's true that they are sick with greed, but they are our brethren too. They can be healed
just like you. Greed is a disease, and for every disease there is a cure. All that is needed is
to look within yourself, within your heart, and ask yourself what is right. Is it alright
that I have a private jet when there is a homeless man on the corner? You already know the
answer. And these small groups of people called "government" will not want to change,
just as the addict doesn't want to quit. But these small groups of people can be swayed
easily.

Not by force, as they have a tendency to use, but by love, reasoning, and especially....
Unification. The have nots, only have not, because they are divided.

What is the driving force of all this? The coal in this train is love. No one should suffer
because of money. No one should die because of greed. No one should ever feel any kind of
discomfort, when it is completely and totally within our control to stop it. And it IS
within our control. There is absolutely no reason, excuse, or argument that can be made,
to justify the problems of this world. Shame on us all.

It is time for a wake up call, and I am here to do it. If there is anything at all that I say,
that you don't agree with, speak up! I truly believe that I am speaking for the good of all
humanity here, and I will only say what I know to be true in my own heart. So if there is
anything that the reader has a problem with, they should question themselves, from

"Read Between the Lines"

within their own heart. The things I have said and will say from now until eternity
passes, will be like that of a father to his son. Only and always with the best intentions,
and only with what I know to be true and right within my own soul. These thoughts and
feelings from the being that I am, are only for the good of us all as a unified family.

We HAVE to work together for the good of ALL. There are no shortages of goods that
justifies any member of our family as the human race to go without, at all, period. There
is now and will always be enough for everybody and then some. The advancement of
technology and the speed with which it progresses every day is a truism of this.

And say for the sake of argument that you would present the alternative. That there is
not enough to go around. Then you are just presenting an even better reason to be
unified!

There is a certain level of comfort that I believe if everyone had in this world, would
greatly improve the matter of all things in this world, while at the same time, reducing
the abundance of negatives we all face each day. There is an equation which I like to use
which states, "Money=Time=Freedom". What this is basically saying is that anyone,
given that certain level of comfort as previously stated,   Will as a given, have the ability,
and time to accomplish any goal that he or she has. When one is not bogged down by a
lack of tools at his or her disposal, whether they be money or time, one has all the power
necessary to achieve great things. Also, if one has all the comforts that one needs, then
that person not only has the means to do anything they desire, but also the motivation.
For when one has want of nothing, then one has the inspiration needed to help others.

So this is basic stuff right? Uncage the bird and it will fly, right? Simple, as most
things at their essence are. We are the ones who complicate them.

The heart of the matter is that one who has, will give. One who has not, will not. Now there
are exceptions to every rule, but this is generally true. So what would happen if everyone
had? Wow, that's impressive is it not? This is not a dream people, this is a reality. It can
happen. Not only that, but it can happen pretty easily too. As I have said before and will
again, there are no excuses.

It is time that we as a people, as the human race, stand up for ourselves... and say NO, to
all the wrong in the world. There is no reason for it.

Every single person on this earth deserves food, a roof over their head, heat, water, air
conditioning, education (at least through high school), and money. I don't care if you
work or not, you DESERVE it. For as I have previously stated, if you have these things,
you will WANT to do something good. Something for the benefit of all. There is no need
to keep power over a people who are happy.

"Read Between the Lines"

What is? What is the reason for anything bad that you can possibly think of? I will tell
you. It's the "Had Nots". This person robbed a bank because he had not. He didn't have
money to feed his family. This person over here killed someone because he had not. He
didn't have the psychological help he needed. This person stole even more money to go
along with the rest of his money because he had not. He had not the help he needed for his
addiction. Finally, this guy right here, left his baby boy cause he had not. He didn't have
tools or resources to deal with such a big event in his life at such an early age. You see?
Everything you could possibly conjure up, is all because of the "Had Nots"!

All that is needed is compassion and time. These things come naturally to a world that
helps itself. Not to a world full of people that help only themselves. Seriously, all of this
stuff is child's play. We are all children that need a father figure to look up to and guide
us in the path of what is right. You could argue that what is right is a matter of
perception, but then there are those universal truths that we all share again right? These
are the only truths needed to accomplish our goal.

Everyone wants world peace, yet it seems to be out of reach. Why? A lack of acceptance for
diversity, a lack of money or resources, a lack of.... You get the picture, the had nots. The
fact is, say it with me people.... THERE ARE NO EXCUSES!

Just grow up. Hold my hand if you need to but GROW UP! I for one am tired of
waiting....waiting....waiting for things to be right! Who are we waiting on? We are
waiting on ourselves. I am not standing or sitting for it anymore. Grow up.

A lot of our anxieties on a daily basis come from what? Worry. What does that come
from? Usually worry stems from the lack of something. Assurance is such a great thing.
This is one of the things that puts us in a good mood. If you could see your whole future
in front of you, if you knew that every bill would be paid, every person you ran into
would be in a good mood because their bills would be paid, what would that be like? Say
whatever you want, but when we are happy, we are productive, we are creative, we work
together and not only that, but we enjoy it!

It's not rocket science people... When we are cared for, we care for others. We care. You care
deeply right now whether you know it or not. The trouble is we are being beat down on a
daily basis by the rat race. It is called the rat race for a reason. It is filthy, unpredictable,
and you have to do whatever it takes just to stay alive. Is this how we should live? Is this
productive? What if we had the luxury, no, THE RIGHT, to focus on something else other
than keeping our head above water? Imagine the possibilities.

Rather than trying to stay afloat by beating down or ripping off our fellow man, we
should be helping each other. How many people right now in the world, do you think
would volunteer their time to help someone in need if they themselves had the time or
money to do so? A LOT! The sad thing is that people want to do good, they want to help.

"Read Between the Lines"

What keeps them from doing so is the circumstances of the way we have built our society.
There's no doubt about it, our system is broken. It always has been. Yet we keep allowing
things to go on the same way, again and again. It is literally insanity! Our system,
and the way it is based around money, hasn't changed since it's initial implementation
hundreds of years ago! We need to change and we need to do it now!

People say we can't change because of the way that things are built now, that they are too
fragile, everything would crash, it would be chaos. All the more reason to do it. If things
are so fragile, (as they obviously are), then it is common sense to build something
sturdier right? There is nothing more sturdy than a society or government that is built
on love, trust, and compassion is there? How could anybody possibly suffer if everyone is
helping everyone?

This sounds impossible does it? Too good to be true you say. Oh ye of little faith. If the
foundation is strong, so is the building. It is our foundation that is weak. We need to
rebuild. We are old enough as a people now, strong enough, wise enough to do this. It is
really so simple, the only thing holding us back is fear. Fear of change is normal. We get
set in our ways, even if our ways are horrible for us. But these common truths of
mankind can easily guide us in the right direction just as soon as we allow them to. The
things that unite us, will guide us.

No one will be left behind. No one will be forgotten.

Respect is at the forefront of all things having to do with humans. We must be respected,
and we must treat others with respect. This is a simple theorem that validates us all. We
are all deserving of it. It shows compassion and love. And as we all know, these are key to
all the universal truths of human kind. If what is being said to you is not coming from
a good place, then it is of no use. If you don't have anything good to say, say nothing at
all.

My father is a great inspiration to me. Here is the kind of person that people talk about
when they talk about good people. The closest thing to a saint there is. Here is a person who
used to work such long hours to keep us above water that he would literally pass out as
soon as the car got put in park next to our trailer. I don't think he has ever worked less
than a decade at every place of business he's been at. Yet, what does he have to show for it?
He still lives in a trailer, still works at close to 60 years of age now, and I think maybe he
got a watch from one of those places, for his years of hard and dedicated work. Is this the
thanks that good people should get for their contribution to society? We know better don't
we.

Our country (America) as a whole, is only an adolescent still. And every superpower
throughout history has dissolved eventually. We can take this opportunity while we are
still young, to lead the way for the rest of the world. We can show them what truly being

"Read Between the Lines"

free is. And we can welcome them to come into our fold and be family with us. Because
there are no borders, there are no divides. These are imaginary things put in place by
ignorance and fear. Part of being free, is living without fear. Then when we show that it is
possible to live free, and help each other as a family would do for each other, maybe
America wouldn't be so hated.

It is not because we have so much that we are hated, it is not because we are "free", it is
because we are free to use all of this stuff any way we want, and we choose to be selfish
with it. We help so little, when we could really help so much. The rest of the world is not
stupid, they have hearts, and therefore are able to see with their own souls the obvious
misuse of our power. We are the kid in the sandbox with all the toys, who shares none of
them. The problems of the world are not completely our fault, but were are partially
responsible for them, and it is our responsibility to help. To those with great power, comes
great responsibility. And as the nation which the world looks to, we have to be an example
of how things should be.

So all of these things sound great you say, it has the ring of truth that you can only
hear with your heart. But, how do we go about this? What do we do, and how do we do it?
Well, the good news is, that this can all without a doubt be accomplished, and not only
that, but within a generation's time. Your lifetime, or even mine! The bad news is,
getting a people used to being controlled, manipulated, and lied to, to come together, is
hard work. Now that is just a pessimistic view of mine, in reality this could all be done in
the blink of an eye, always could have been. People should not be afraid of their
governments, governments should be afraid of their people. And guess what? They
absolutely are. They are afraid that if people really did have the ability to choose, really
did have freedom, that all of their greed and power would be gone forever! Guess what, they
are right again! But, what they don't understand, because of their sickness, is that they
will be better for it as well! The addict only believes the drug is the answer.

So here are some of the things that I propose;

First, we need to completely clean house within our government. For all of these people
have their hands in the cookie jar. Then, we the people, find and elect only persons that
WE respect and feel aren't contaminated with greed or any kind of sickness. Truly wise
individuals who have had these kinds of ideals which I speak of, all along. This newly
formed government that resides as the body and mind of the people for the people, would
need to be made of one person from each country, who solely represents the thoughts and
feelings of their country alone, to the representatives of the rest of the board in regards to
their countries needs. Now this is all just a formality, it allows the countries to keep their
identity, and customs that make them who they are, within the " oneness" that the world
will be. This allows us to be separate and same in perfect harmony. Because no matter
what, the people, the majority, will always have the final say.

"Read Between the Lines"

But these people, who we respect greatly, will have the honor of that of an Indian chief
bestowed upon them. And we will hear what they have to say.

Next, we need to lay the foundation  for a happy, productive, and fulfilled world by
giving. Giving the not only the necessities which I have spoken of earlier to each and
every person alive, but the comfort as well. Comfort is key here, it shows respect for life.
Now, people can keep what they already have if they want, just like now. But, every person
in the world must have food to eat, a roof over their heads, heat, air conditioning, medical
needs addressed, education, and money. An allotment just like an allowance for kids.
This is given wether you work or not. If you are alive, you are cared for. That is the
message here. We are not animals, and we care for each other. Now, people who do work, get
extra money just like now.

Now, the money given by the government to the people for their comfort level, will be of
different colors for the different necessities, like monopoly money. Say if for instance,
food money was green, then only green money could be used on food. Like a gift card for
a certain store. It is controlled money to make sure everyone is taken care of. The money
given for working somewhere, will be a multipurpose money. This money, just like your
allowance money, will be a certain color and that money, you can spend any way you
want. Now this ensures that everyone has enough to be comfortable, and extra incentive to
work.

But that is not the main thing to cause people to still work. Again that sense of purpose,
of being of value or use that is inherent in all of us, that is what would keep this world
spinning even without money. Of course my vision for what we could attain eventually
and what we are capable of right now are two different things. We will get there though, I
do believe.

Oh, and people who say that giving money out like this will depreciate the value of the
dollar, are full of it. America alone has a deficit of fifty billion dollars, so what does that
mean? We print money too you know. It isn't some rare resource there is only a finite
amount of. Seriously. The problem the government has is that it doesn't control the
banks. The banks are their own separate thing. In my world, they won't be. In our world,
they will work for us.

Now, for some more hard truth. I am respectful of all religions. But since I have vowed to
be completely honest as a father to a child, I will share this. I don't believe that anyone
alive, ever, really knows what happens after you die, other than the obvious scientific
effects. I also think that deep down, every one thinks this themselves. Now it's cool if you
believe that a particular something happens, I hike to believe that myself, but as I said, I
am being completely honest. Say for the sake of argument, we don't know what happens?
Wouldn't it be an extremely smart thing to do, to make the best of our very short time here
on earth? Okay, I heard a unanimous "Yes" there. Alright, now that we are on the same

"Read Between the Lines"

page, why can't we agree to do just that one thing? Let's make this world a pleasure to be
in!

So we know that life is short, time flies, you blink your eyes and it's gone. Come on
people! Let's make this place amazing to live in. Let's comfort each other, let us be there for
each other. Let's enjoy our lives and make contributions that really matter. And let's
think in those passing seconds before we die, "Wow, that was awesome!" closing our eyes
with a sense of pride, well being, and fulfillment.

Another thing that I think should be different as we go along here, is the pay for certain
jobs. The jobs that are extremely important such as being a doctor or anything involving
a persons safety or well being should definitely still pay a lot. But, the jobs that are the
hardest, most labor intensive, dangerous, or in general jobs that no one wants to do,
should get the same kind of pay as doctors and the like.

In regards to qualifications for jobs. This is something I have been holding onto for a
while. Say you are a self taught "DIY" (do it yourself) kind of person who loves to write
code for computer games. Say that you can do this particular job just as well as anyone
who went to school three or four years for it. Then guess what? You are qualified for the
position! Why should a piece of paper saying you can hold you back from getting the job?
Maybe you've spent four years teaching yourself? You are no less qualified for the job
than the person who went to school for it. The way this would work, is there would be an
examination test to take, full of random questions about the job in question. If your score
is high enough, you are qualified! So in other words, you are assessed at the same time
you fill out the application. That is fair, and fair, is a lot of what we are trying to achieve
here....together.

The jobs that aren't vitally important to a person's health or that aren't dangerous, would
be the lowest paying jobs. Those such as retail for example.

Just to touch on a little bit of my experiences with the way things are now in the work
place, I was once employed at a place that didn't pay minimum wage, had a deceptive
contract to sign, lied to their own customers, and didn't pay us our commission money.
Now after I quit, I did get enough money back to cover what I was suppose to get as
minimum wage. But that was after I called the North Carolina Labor Department on them
and had them investigated. Turns out I did a lot of damage to them because they
eventually had to change the name of their business just to stay in business.

I have also worked at a place where our boss threatened to fire us every time we failed to sell
a protection plan along with something. She done this enough times on a daily basis that
she made good hard working people cry, and get completely stressed out over this. It
among other things she did was emotional abuse.

"Read Between the Lines"

My point is this, a lot of these things happen because of stress from higher up on the
corporate ladder, greed, or just plain pressure and worry. It's not so much that these were
bad people so much as they were the victims of a faulty structure based on greed that is
the cornerstone of all our governments. Now scenarios such as the aforementioned would
not even exist in my world, the world we should all have. Because the people would have the
power always. Say that mean and ignorant boss lady that had all of her employees
running around with their tail between their legs, abusing her "power" were in my world.

Well then, what would happen and how would things work? Well, as soon as it was agreed
amongst the majority of employees that she was in fact out of line on a regular basis
(just like it actually was), guess what? That's right, she would be out of there! And guess
who would get to pick who the next boss was? Right again, the people... The employees
themselves! Ah, justice is gratifying!

That brings me to judging. I really don't think it is ever a good idea to have any one
person be a judge. It should always be a group effort in my opinion. Again that way we
have the power of the people in action. We need multiple views to properly assess these kind
of things.

Marijuana should be legalized. If anyone with half a brain looks at the honest to
goodness research of this plant and it's uses, they would agree. It is virtually non
detrimental in every way (certainly not compared to other legal drugs) and has a large
number of good uses. In particular, it's medicinal uses are very real. It is completely a
"win win" and the argument that it funds and leads to other much worse drugs, just
doesn't hold water at all.

That was a little off track there, but I want to be honest about everything that I can think
of in regards to our world, how it is, and how it has to be soon, for the sake of us all.

I am just tired... Aren't you? Aren't you tired of seeing this bad thing over here, or that
one over there, or having it happen to you? Do you not get the fact that nothing, I mean
NOTHING can stop us or hold us back at all? Do you not want this world I speak of? If not
for yourself, for your children? For your dad? For your sister or brother? Look around, we
all do.

And while you are at it, do you not realize that these people you are looking at ARE your
sister, ARE your brother? We only have each other and that is an undeniable fact. So let's
make the best of it alright? And let's not take no for an answer.... How bout it brother?

Again, I must reiterate, this is not some pipe dream, this is so doable it's not even funny.
In fact, it's just the opposite, it's something that we as a race should be ashamed of. Where
is our decency? Where are the manners? Where is the respect.... where's the love? How can
any of us sleep at night knowing full well in the back of our minds tucked away

"Read Between the Lines"

somewhere that a child is starving, homeless, and sick? I will tell you how... distraction,
that's how. You see, the man (big brother, government, whatever) has you running
around it's hamster wheel getting no where fast. This is a FAULTY system people, wake
up! I know if you had the tools, time, or money, that you would indeed help... I know it,
research even shows it. What kind of a system does not allow people to help people? A
broken one, period.

God I can see it! I can see us as a whole. As a family. Accepting and respecting of
differences. Growing together. Actually living together. Not just surviving. It's just so
obvious, it truly saddens me that it hasn't happened yet. And I am ashamed enough for
us all. I would just bet if that starving, homeless, and sick child was you, you would be a
little more anxious to get this ball rolling.

Now I am not here to guilt trip you, if you look into your heart, you will do that for
yourself, I am just stating the absolute hard truth of the way things are, and how they
should be. "life's not fair" you say...who's fault is that? Yours? Mine? Ours? Yes, yes,
yes.

Everybody seems to be afraid to stick their neck out in the open for fear that it will get
chopped off.... Well I am not afraid. I will happily let you chop my neck off if it gets us to
where we need to be. Are you afraid? Are you afraid of looking like a fool? It is true that
people with the sickness of greed will think you are. The great people of our history as
humans on this earth, were all labeled "crazy" usually during their time period. If I were
to spout all of my dreams for mankind here, I would definitely be labeled as such. As it is
now, I probably will be anyway. But I want to stay focused on what it is that I know we
can achieve now, in this very moment, this very second. And I know that anyone,
anyone at all, even those currently sick with greed, I know that deep down they can tell,
they can feel that what I am saying, is the truth. Because the truth has a certain ring to
it. It can affect you and touch you even at your sickest. And that, is what I have going
for me. Truth. It will, set us all free. Glory be to us all.

Now, causing people of government to agree to this way of life may not be easy, but we
certainly don't have to use force. Just by our being of the same mind on these things, is
all we need for change to occur. But it has to happen the way we want, the way stated here,
no compromises. Because compromise is useless, it would negate the whole essence of the
goodness that this new world would be. Compromise would still leave government with
some control. And as previously stated, we the people are the only real control. This whole
thing is about unification, not division. It is also about compassion, and love, so no use
of force against another human being is necessary. If one person physically hurts
another, we ALL contain and help not only the abused, but the abuser as well.

All that is required on our part is inaction. Inaction will stop the government in its
veering tracks. It won't leave us open for attack from other countries, cause who's still got

"Read Between the Lines"

their finger on the button? Our inaction will show compassion, it will be inspiring for the
other countries. Especially the countries in serious need of help now, and they will all
back us in our message of peace and love for everyone. We will be on center stage and the
world will take a deep breath together, waiting to see what our government does. And when
they see that they have no choice, they will bow out, and the world will be ours.... all of
ours! Then we can rebuild with the best of intentions, with compassion as our compass,
with love in our hearts for all of mankind.

Now I don't mean mansions for everyone, I also don't mean just the necessities, I mean a
certain level of comfort for all. That is prime breeding ground for goodness the likes of
which you would not believe. It is the seed that will grow forth into a gigantic tree of life.
A tree with many branches all connected to each other. All dependent on each other. With
a firm trunk, and even firmer roots. It's all about respect for life, and yes we can change
for the better. No one person is going to do it, but WE will... together.

My article is called "Read Between the Lines" not as a clue to do that for this article, but
as a kind of mantra to live by until our dream of, "Humanity United is Heaven on
Earth" comes true. Because anything that anybody (especially those in government) do,
must not be taken at face value. You have to read between the lines. The real reason for
anything is always there right in front of you, it may be hidden, but it's there. All
things no matter how complicated they may seem, in essence, is simple.

There is always balance. No matter how many times a thing is broken, no matter what it
is, every single one of those little pieces, is and always will be perfectly balanced. Now
does that mean that the pieces are as good as the whole? After all, the whole is only as good
as the sum of it's parts. It doesn't mean it's not as good, it just means it has changed,
and depending on what it is you're trying to accomplish, determines how good the
transformation is. Break apart a house made of legos, and you could make a box to keep
other legos in. Form, and function, they go hand in hand. There is great truth in this.
So, if then, the form of our governmental system is functioning in a way that causes
problems, then what needs to happen? We don't have to destroy it completely, there are
pieces in place that are functional. We just have to rearrange it to suit our needs better.

The point is this, you can mask a bad book with a good cover, and fool many people, but
about half way through that book, deep inside, you will find the truth of the matter.
There's no joke about it, and don't kid yourself, we are now involved in nothing more
than a modern form of slavery. We slave every day at or low paying jobs just to stay
alive. Usually long hours with little or no benefits, no healthcare, living in a beat up,
definitely needs a new roof excuse for a home. Giving us no time to spend with our
family, teaching our own spawn how to be productive, well mannered, benefits to society.
And absolutely no time to take care of the person who matters most.... YOU! It's the whole
"Can you use evil for good?" argument. If you, the caretaker of future generations aren't
happy, then who do you think suffers? When momma's happy, everyone's happy. We are

even letting the "man made weather" that is the media  (also government controlled) raise
our young. Shame.

So you see that this is a vicious cycle of a hamster wheel we are running around in, and
where does it stop? With us, that's where. When the hamsters stop running, and start
standing, then they can reach the latch in the cage. Don't get distracted by the food and
water there, because you, me, and every living thing on this earth deserve better.... we
deserve freedom.

It really is only a matter of time before these things come to pass. Eventually, we will
ALL evolve enough spiritually to the point where we can easily see things that are done
out of fear or greed and nip it in the bud before it has a chance to blossom. And although
it seems like it has blossomed, it is still only a seedling. I would just really like to see
such a beautiful thing as all people being given the respect they inherently deserve, come
to pass before I pass on. I am basically impatient at this point cause I am tired of the
abuse. The wise man gives respect where none is given, I can do that on my strongest of
days, but most of the time, I'm just human, and I really want to give the eye for an eye
thing a try.

Honestly and truthfully though, I really just want to see people everywhere using their
hearts, more than their heads, egos, penis's, and/or guns. And if it seems as though I am
trying to sell you on the idea, it's because I am. I know when people are stuck in a rut, in
a habit, that it's hard to break free. One of the things I use to ask myself when I was a
little boy watching a show about slavery and African Americans was, "Why did they
even do it? Why don't they fight back?" In movies and shows I watched on the subject as a
youth, in a slave line, they used to have only two or three white men with guns for every
thirty or forty slaves. In that situation they could have easily worked together to overcome
the gunmen with a very small amount of casualties. And as I have matured, I know now
the reason. It was because the very sick white people of that time were not stupid on top of
it. The whites had gotten into the heads of the blacks. They had beaten and broken them
down like a cowboy breaks a horse for riding. They broke the blacks spirit. Which is not
shocking when you take into consideration how the whites came to own this great land of
ours. The irony is that through time, and the hard work of both Native Americans and
African Americans, they have actually come to heal us. And if we take some pages out of
their books, we could all overcome... together.

Make no mistake, we are not free by any stretch of the imagination. What is the best way
to control a bear? Make him think he's a mouse. That's exactly what is going on here. We
are being controlled by the illusion of freedom. Brainwashed into thinking that we
actually are free. Labeled as a terrorist, traitor, or sympathizer if we say anything
otherwise.

I hate salesman. Sorry, I just do. I wouldn't dare stereotype and say they are all the same,
but in my experience, most of them are. They will say anything to you, lie, cheat, and
steal just to sell you something. But because of the circumstances of this world, I had to be
one for a small period of time at one point in my life. I sold furniture. And the owners
took me in with no experience or knowledge of furniture and trained me themselves. This
all seemed great at the time. They were family owned and operated, and really seemed
like good people. Turns out, that all the training they gave me, was lies. I sold furniture
to people telling them exactly what I was told to say, believing that it was true. Things
like, "Yes, this is real wood." or, "Yes, this is made in America". And I never bothered to
check myself, I trusted these people. Until one day, one of my coworkers brought up the
fact that these things weren't true. Then, I did my research and found out he was right. I
was outraged. To think that these very well to do and nice people were taking advantage of
hard working people's money, and making a fool out of me too, was shameful at the least.
So I worked the amount of time I had previously worked, over again, telling every
single person that came in there the truth and nothing but, just to make it up to myself
for what I had unknowingly did to all of these people that I had sold to. Then I quit. But
the point is this, what I am trying to sell you now, is from my heart, it is truth, and it is
genuine. You don't have to be afraid of being lied to by me... ever. That is a promise that I
make to the reader.

A funny thing that I thought I would share with you, is that from time to time, I  talk to
people around me about the ideals in this article. Just to make sure there is nothing I am
missing and that all I am saying is holding water. What's funny, is that every
argument against what I am saying, turns out to be an argument for what I am saying
by the end. Almost like any attempt to sink this ship, just makes it sail better. It only
strengthens my ideals, and should yours too when people want to challenge you. Just
remember to be respectful no matter what. If someone won't listen to you at a whisper, they
won't at a yell either.

The thing is, I think a lot of people now, feel it, even if they don't see it, or understand it.
They know something isn't right... Something is amiss. People that struggle with
depression on a daily basis, I really think, are just naturally more aware of how things
are, and how they should be. People who are pessimistic. People who are just plain pissed
off. They see all of the things wrong with this world, and how could that not make you
depressed or pessimistic or just plain pissed off? What I think maybe some of them don't
get or just can't describe it the way I am, is that the reason these things make them that
way, is because they already know deep down, whether it's a feeling or something else,
that things really and truly, don't HAVE to be this way. We HAVE the power to change
it.

Or maybe they are just like me and are ashamed it hasn't happened yet. I think that no
matter how optimistic or happy you are now or anytime, that we all have a sense of guilt
within us. It's because we know these things are wrong. I think that what we don't know

"Read Between the Lines"

so well is that we can change it. We are more afraid of our light than our dark. We are
more afraid of what we could be, than we are of how bad we can be. We already know how
bad we can be, history has shown us. And if we haven't done it yet, it's pretty easy to
imagine the worst we could do. What we have a hard time imagining, (or at least
believing) is how great we could become.

When I say you can challenge anything I say, I have a secret.... The reason why I say
"challenge" is because you can't win! I also have another secret... The "me" that "you" are
challenging.... Is you! I am your inner voice. For I am human too. Because I am me, I
know you, on the deepest levels of who you are.

I am you, you are me...
We are one, we are we...

We are all so completely different and unique. Yet, at the same time, we are so alike and
practically the same animal. Now this is a bit of a contradiction isn't it? But this one is
not that hard to understand is it? I will tell you something about contradictions though,
just like the title of the article, if you read between the lines, deep into the soul of it, you
will find that contradictions have truth in them as well. Usually it is a more
philosophical or deeper meaning hidden in a contradiction than an outright fact.
Something again that almost has to be felt instead of seen.

I think it is pretty apparent now that the earth is going down a bad road pretty quick. Oil.
There.... Just wanted to say it. I don't need to really touch on it that much because again I
think we all know what's going on here. Greed. Had to say it. We have the technology,
resources, and all the means and reasons to switch completely over to electric vehicles.
Why haven't we? Greed. Crap, there's a lot of alternatives any of which would be better.
Big gas companies are rolling in it. And every time it rains the prices go up, up, up. And
again, anyone who does the research will see that there is virtually no down side to this at
all. Win win all round, except for the greedy gas companies of course. The detrimental
effect that we are having on our own mother now because of this sickness is irrefutable.
This is the planet that gave us life, it IS alive, and we treat her like the wicked stepmother.
The technology is here now people. We can live all the glorious lifestyles we have right now
and even better while still yet healing our mother and ourselves. That is part of the reason
why I am stressing the importance of time and now. Because the time IS NOW. All the
pieces of the puzzle are here. This is really the ultimate test. The final exam. Do we choose
to respect all life, or or go down with the ship. Things will balance themselves out
eventually. Do you want it to be yin or yang? Simple stuff. No excuses. We all have the
information, we can't claim ignorance, it's our choice, not the governments, not gods,
ours.

Bit of a lecture there on something I was just going to touch on, but it really does stress
the importance of the power and responsibility we have as humans.

"Do we choose to respect all life, or or go down with the ship." We will choose to go down with the ship; to the darkest, coldest, depths of end 100% of the time!
sorry for the emo out-look. lol

Yes! The answer is simple. It wasn't ever hard to find. It was and is always right in front of us but the one problem you are missing is, people don't want to change! People love the misery they have created. They might hate misery but they love it much more then they hate it. And here is the final addition you are missing in your equation; WE ALL DIE! if we lived forever we might be able to see and act on how bad we have made things in this life but the problem is (like you said) building a good foundation takes time and why would I spend my time building something and not satisfying my every lust if at the end I die and never get see the completion of that foundation?
To sum it up; we know how to fix us; we just don’t want to be fixed.
Love is the answer but it is the answer Man will never come to.
Men love darkness more than light!
Ps, I’d love feedback!
