Soar With Me

Soar With Me

A Poem by Bradley Layton

Soar With ME

Gliding along

The wind in my hair

With the blades

Of life

Beneath my feet

Gracefully

Carving me a path

In the white frozen life

That I'm on

This uncertainty

Of if I'm alone

Holding my arms out

Afraid to close my eyes

But you take

My hand

You glide with me

Your blades

Carving alongside mine

Smiling

With me

Now I can close my eyes

And carve

For with you

By my side

On this big rink

I'm not alone

Aww, I liked the metaphor in this. :-) The wording was good, but I think your flow needs a little work. Try combining some of the lines to make more complete thoughts instead of segmenting them across two or three lines. Still, I quite enjoyed this. Good work. :D
