Unknowing:A Poem by SoozProtegeA internalization of loveMy lips are ignorant of the alphabet I learned in school. As far as unknowing is concerned, I don’t even know how my body moves it’s solid stuff from room to room. And I unknow you. Yet thoughts of an angel emerge from the landscape of my mind As easily as the trees spring up outside Your intellect riding high, A moving moon across my inner sky. That illuminates the unknowing wisdom of the eyes. That sees without knowing how, And does not question why. © 2020 SoozProtege |
