Killing Soul

Killing Soul

A Poem by Lloyd
"

I started this to make fun of some other writing that I was reading at the time and to simply use what turned out to be the final line.

"

Killing Soul

I'd like to kill my soul today,

I'd like to leave this pit.

My heavy heart is lying

In a puddle there beside it.

I'd like to go to hell today.

I’m sure it can’t be worse.

Burdens drown my soul with guilt,

Living out the curse.

So after all, I'd love to die

And Lie beneath the crust

The pain of life will melt away,

As my bones turn to rust.

I'd like to kill my soul today

And rise above the valley

Put my spirit please to rest at once

My a*s back in the alley
