Chapter 2A Chapter by Byron CrossA heated argument breaks out between my friends and myselfThe bell rang for lunch; the school filed out into the
school hall ways and was soon deserted. My whole group formed outside where we usually meet, under
the shade of a large willow tree where we would discuss our first four periods
of the day and have plenty of debates about topics that randomly surface while
we talk. “NO!!!! Abortions are absolutely terrible, it doesn’t matter
how old you are you cannot have an abortion” Ashley exclaimed “I honestly think if you are still in school and you’re
pregnant get an abortion” Kirsten calmly stated “I agree, I mean this pregnancy can ruin your entire school
career and you only have one shot at that, you f**k up the first shot, you f**k
up your entire life” I added “Exactly, I mean we are not for abortions we also find it
disgusting but sometimes it can help someone’s life a s**t load” Kirsten said “No, but you are still taking the baby’s-“ “Foetus” I corrected her “-potential baby, you are taking its right to life away”
Ashley finished her previous statement “But still you are going to f**k up your life if you don’t”
Kirsten exclaimed “But you can put it up for adoption” Ashley explained “Then when the baby is 18 the false parents are going to
tell the child he or she was adopted and then it would come looking for it true
parents” I told Ashley “Yes, but-“ “You know none of this would happen if you use
contraceptives” Chadd eventually got the nerve to speak aloud “True, but not all contraceptives are fool proof, something
can happen then s**t hits the fan” I told him “Yea I know that but you just need to hope nothing bad
happens” Chadd said while fixing his dirty blonde hair by combing his hand
through hair “It doesn’t work like that” I told him “Then how does it ‘Work’?” he asked me while flailing his
hands above his head “You look like a retard when you do that, stop it” I told
him “and maybe if you don’t have sex in the first place this s**t won’t happen
at all, so let’s get this conversation over with.” “I agree” Cara said “let’s talk about something less…
depressing” “Why the f**k are you even here, in our circle” I asked her
giving her my utmost diva attitude “I’m here every-” she started “I, We don’t give a flying f**k what you do every day, I’m
asking you about today” I told her “Because you’re my friends” she said sadly “If I recall I gave my friendship to you and you threw it
back into my f*****g face the first f*****g week of school, you did it to all
of us!” I shouted while everyone nodded in agreement She ran off crying into the large brown school building in
the direction of the girls’ bathroom “Elijah don’t you think that was just a little too much”
Kirsten asked me “Certainly not, she wants to do stupid s**t like what she
did and think she can get off Scott-free from that then she has another thing
coming to her” I told her © 2013 Byron Cross |
