Same

Same

A Poem by Broken Porcelain

Drowning in a pool of emptiness and sorrow.
My mind is spiraling, my logic is twisting.
What used to be, what once was.
The memories dance in my head.
My smile is dull.
My eyes do not shine.
Trapped in this corner.
No way to escape.
This pressure I cannot bare.
Kill me now.
Let my soul rest in pieces.
For the girl who stands here today is not who she was.
She will never be the same.

Deep and insightful. I enjoyed the piece. I thought for me the imagery was a little on the average side but overall I loved this piece. It is charged with emotions that I can relate to as a reader. Good Job. Thank you for sharing.e
