In Love

In Love

A Poem by Broken Porcelain

Such time we’ve wasted.
Going in a circle.
From one heart to the next.
Why doesn’t anyone fit?
I know who’s wrong.
But never who’s right.
Now, at night…
I feel like you holding me tight.
All my worries are forced away.
As the moonlight shines on your perfect face.
You may not be, here in my arms.
But in my thoughts.
You shall forever be.
For, I write these lines to let you know.
Love for you, I’ll always show
So in the past, it may have not been right.
But, I know as I lay my head down tonight.
As I pray for peace and happiness in our lives.
I’ll know who’s right.
As I close my eyes, imagine your smile.
I won’t be with you, for quite a while.
The thought of you is good enough.
For that’s how I feel, when I’m in love.
