To see beyond what's shown you

To see beyond what's shown you

A Poem by Fish, plankton, sea greens...

world

covered

truth

masked

people

oppressed

live in comfort, die in vain

don't wake up-

play

or

listen

to the whispers

hear

the faint footsteps in the dark woods

follow the lantern

see where it leads

This was an interesting piece... The jest of what I got was basically you must seize the day or let life pass you by...I love the second part of the piece, after the first six single word lines (I think those could be brought together a little), it gave me a wonderful feel. Nicely done...I look forward to reading more from you.
