Narcissist

It's supposed to be forever. 

Supposed to be until "death do us part"

Better together, until the end of time. Supposed to be soulmates.

Instead it's accusations because of your insecurities,

It's controlling me because you need to feel power.

It's you using our children we raised, against me to try and gain more power over me

Not anymore!

I refuse to give you power over me. 

I refuse to let you break me. 

I refuse to let you win. 

My mind clear, God by my side

I take the next step to my freedom

You wanted this, You chose to not want me anymore

So now I choose to love myself first

Then love my children. 

I refuse to give you power over me.

"Ignore me, I'll ignore you

you act single, I will act single

You claim me, and I will claim you

You play games, Then I will play games

You put me second, so now Im gonna put you last...."

I am in my feelings tonight, over some personal issues going on with my soon to be ex husband now....please be nice and God bless you all!

A feisty write. Your second stanza...... three times you say, 'I refuse to...'. This is giving him a taste of his own medicine, standing up to him. Nothing worse than controlling behaviour, it's bullying. Thank you for sharing.
