The Voice of the Prisoner at SeaA Poem by Hayllie"Please be careful." "Mother relax. Something out there is calling me and I have to find it." Be weary of her song She hides below, but reaches your soul Her voice is like an angel so melancholy and fragile Behind that voice is the monster that awaits to seal your fate in the depths of hell Be weary, for her beauty isn't worth the price to pay Set out for an adventure to an unknown calling desperate to see the wounder of what the world could show me Dangerous waters pulled at my ship wanting to cast me over Waves trying to capsize me I struggle to find my feet as the waves crash higher My skin is frozen against the icy waters Thrown into the ocean, weak, and cold My fight almost over I cannot bare to hold on I let the water take me under That ill fate I've always heard will claim another victum Tears match the water as I go farther down.. letting the world slip away I take one last look as piercing eyes meet mine Her delicate hands touching my face Hoisting me up to the surface Her voice sweet and enchanting She whispers to me "This is not the hell you want Prisoner to the sea, never to see land" A soft kiss is all she leaves me with before disappearing back below. Her face, so beautiful My new adventure awaits to find a forbidden love A new adventure that ends with me
