She wasn't sure where she was going, but she just kept walking through the pack house. She passed by each bedroom on the first floor and found a set of spiral steps. Slowly she walked up. She passed the second floor, going straight for the third floor. This one was different. So secluded, like it was it's own world. At the end of a long hallway, was a master bedroom. She couldn't help herself. She walked in slowly and looked around. "This must be the alpha's room." She thought to herself as she noticed pictures of the alpha downstairs with some of the other pack members. He looked different in the pictures. Friendly...happy...he looked normal. She smiled at them and walked to the master bathroom. It was HUGE! The step in shower was all stone, with a window that went from the ceiling to the middle of the shower wall. There was a double sink in the middle of the bathroom, atop marble counter-tops, and a garden tub on the other side. Instinctively she removed her shoes and stepped in. Sitting down, she lad back as if it was full of water and closed her eyes. She loved garden tubs; so relaxing. She was busy in her own mind, when the feeling of someone watching her suddenly pulled her out of her trance. She looked up to see the alpha smirking at her. She jumped up quickly and stepped out of the tub to look up at him with a aggravated look. "I see you found my bathroom. If you wanted to use it all you have to do is say so. I don't mind, and I wouldn't mind joining either." He smiled a dangerous smile and it pissed her off. "Screw you alpha! You are not joining me in a shower or a bath....or anything else!" She said sternly. His smirk grew. "Well I hate to tell you but you are my mate as much as I don't want that either, so looks like you are stuck with me." He laughed. She huffed a little and rolled her eyes. "Are you serious?! No way in hell am I staying here with you!" She huffed walking out of the bathroom past him. He turned and followed her, but before she could make it to the door, he grabbed her and turned her so she was facing him. "Your not going anywhere." His lips were inches from hers and her breathing caught in her throat. He smelled...sexy and dangerous. "Please just leave me alone." Her voice barely above a whisper. He smiled at her, revealing perfect white teeth, his canines sharper and more defined than a humans would be; she couldn't help but to want to feel them. Swallowing hard, she slowly leaned up and kissed him. It had took him off guard, he hadn't expected her to do that. A moan escaped his lips as her tongue began playing at his lips, begging to be let in. When he opened his lips farther, she took the chance and let her tongue slowly run over his canine teeth. She could feel them begin to grow and she deepened the kiss. Instantly a plan began to form in her mind. He walked her backwards, his mouth never leaving hers until she was pinned against the door. He pressed himself against her, and groaned as her fingers trailed his back muscles to his shoulders, and dug her nails in. He trailed kisses down to the base of her neck; between her shoulder and neck where at some point he would place his mark. She reached her hands around to the front of his shirt and grabbed the waistline of his jeans. He moaned in anticipation. Looking up at him she smiled provocatively then pulled away, leaving him breathing heavy. He looked down at her with aggravation. She knew what she had done to him, and the thought made her smile.
He let out a small growl as he stepped back from her. "That's a dangerous game you are playing." He growled. Longing and frustration filled his tone, and she could see the want and the lust in his dark eyes. Instantly she took her chance and burst through the door. Running back down the stairway, trying to get to the bottom so she could get to the door. Looking behind her she didn't see him, but when she turned back around, there he stood with two of his pack mates behind him. She groaned loudly. "Seriously?" He let out a small laugh, his canines still extended. "Nice try little rebel. Try to much of that, and i'll have you locked in my room." His smile was dangerous, but sexy. She rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. "Come let's get dressed." He gently took her arm, leading her back upstairs. "Dressed? Where do you think you are taking me?" He looked at her slowly. "I have to finish training the pack today and I can't trust you to behave." She huffed again and sat on his bed and watched as he walked into the closet to change. Still crossing her arms, she rolled her eyes again; until he removed his shirt. Then she couldn't help but stare at him. He was gorgeous. Strong shoulders, rock hard abs that were perfectly chiseled, and led to his v-line of his lower abdomen not leaving much to her imagination. He looked more like some kind of Greek God instead of an alpha werewolf. He turned to see her looking at him and he smiled a dangerous smile. "Like what you see little rebel?" He stalked towards her, and she looked down suddenly. Greyson extended his hand to her. She hesitated for a second, then taking his hand he led her downstairs and outside to the arena.
The pack was gathered around in a huge circle as they were sparring with each other. She eyed them carefully. "What are they doing?" She asked, her eyes never meeting his. "They're sparring. Today's lesson." Greyson said moving to the circle. She sat down on the fence of the arena and watched. "OK boys. Today let's work on our defensive skills. Split up into groups of two or three." He walked around each group, giving advice and helping those who seemed to be falling behind. After a few hours, he turned his attention towards the fence at her. She had moved to the ground, and now leaned against the fence, still watching them. "Keep going." He called as he walked over to her. "Hey. You wanna join us?" He asked holding out his hand. "What? Me? Why would you want me to join ya'll?" He smiled. "Because you are my mate, and it would be good for you to learn how to protect yourself since you are so persistent on being a smart a*s." He joked. "One..we are not mates and two I can handle myself. No thanks." She sighed. He clenched his jaw, but instantly relaxed. "Yes that I can see, but still it never hurts to learn something new." He stood with his hands on his hips with a aggravated look. The pack, now focused on them, waited to see what she would decide. She rolled her eyes suddenly, standing up to him. "Fine. But don't make a big deal when I kick your a*s alpha." She said confidently and he couldn't help but laugh a little. "Let's see it then little rebel."
The two moved to the middle of the circle and got into a ready stance. "Take your time. But no free hits, you done got your first cheep shot." He winced at the earlier memory of her hitting him in the cheek. It was a powerful hit for a human, but for a female especially. The idea of her not being human began to play in his mind. Rhett had mentioned that, but he didn't feel anything from her but human. He had been surprised. She smirked at him. Greyson payed close attention to her. She had some basic skills. Her fist were just at her eyes, as he took a step towards her. She ducked out of the way and flung herself at him, landing a punch to his left cheek. He jerked his head back, turning and putting her in a headlock. "Basic moves little rebel. Not bad." He said in a low voice in her ear. "Is that all you got wolf?" She escaped his headlock, punching him twice in his side causing him to groan in pain before she kicked him in the back of his leg pinning him to the ground. "Ugh!" He groaned as she landed on top of him. "Not that I dislike the position little rebel, but your gonna have to do better than that." He said breathing heavy as his punched her rib cage forcing her to cry out and fall to the side as they quickly jumped to their feet. He swung again, this time hitting her forearm knocking her to her butt again. She looked up at him. "Always keep your focus! Never let your guard down no matter what." He stated. She stood quickly and threw a few more punches to his face and stomach. The beta wolf shifted his position, drawing her attention towards him and off of Greyson. He took the shot and hit her again in her right rib cage hard; knocking the wind clean out of her and she fell in a heap breathing heavy. He backed away from her, trying to catch his breath but looking around at his pack. None would look at her. They looked straight ahead, their hands behind their backs. "If nothing else sticks in your head..always remember the slightest distraction could be the difference between life and death! Never take your eyes off your opponent for any reason! Dismissed for today!"
Greyson let out a deep breath and moved back in front of her, still laying on the ground; her arm across her stomach, holding her ribs. Pain suddenly drilled through him. Her pain. He could feel it then. He hadn't meant to hurt her really. He wanted to teach her as he was his pack, but he never intended for her to get really hurt. "I'm sorry...I didn't mean to hurt you. Can you stand?" He watched as she struggled to her feet but fell back to the ground, groaning in pain. "What have you done you jackass!!? You weren't supposed to hurt her, just train her! You've hurt mate!" His wolf growled at him. Greyson hung his head somberly, before carefully picking her up. She cried out at first, but as he moved towards the house he felt her lean into him, her head resting on his shoulder, her nose inches from his neck. He could feel her breath on his neck, and he had to swallow the heat rising up his throat. This wasn't the time to want her like that. He had hurt his mate, and now he had some serious making up to do.
