[_ The Weekend Chronicles _] : Chapter 1 " I'm Se Damned - Halloween " - The ChemistA Poem by Borislava ZoFine unpolished diamond in a periodic table of commonly found elements, hard to trace unless you posses knowledge beyond basic chemical strength of materials and nuclear energy... Clearly what appeared to be to the inexperienced .. the Strongest of elements, was yet the one with broken lattice and misplaced electrons, dispersed protons and ions lost due to the breakdown of a covalent bond... Although, I am a well known chemist all across the flask of psychological impact, nominated for awards, with many chains traced to my name, combustion, oxidations and explosions are merely the surface plain... I play with the Bunsen flame for the coven of my witchcraft, and after every Solstice I leave my book of Shadows on the shelves of the past and never look back... sacrifices in the name of luck... in the laboratory of emotions I hold the degree of catalyzing each process beyond its Avogadro's constant, and well above boiling point of an alloy. I deploy my knowledge and condense drops of pain from my experiments and take pride for each isotope I create as a multiple regression of my exponential imagination of a Frankenstein monster... yet the equation of me remained unbalanced until that Saturday... I mean, you see.. I've been an essential thread in life processes, as an RNA I've multiplied until the virus replaced every cell of the previous state... slowly taking residence in the innocence of a victim, in the veins of the poor hosts, I create mutated versions of new elements.. my functions are hazardous material to be handled with care, I've played main role as a cure and poison simultaneously, in the condensation of solids, I've evaporated emotions gracefully and left toxic fumes to acidify the rust of broken particles I left in my laboratory of venom production, disguised as the cure. In the coffin of hope, the placebo is strong... © 2015 Borislava Zo |
