Sleeping Alone

Sleeping Alone

A Poem by Boricua Justice

Dont you hate sleeping alone?

So far away she's never coming home

Our memories are fading quicker than I can remember them

If I don't see her now

I'm afraid our love will just disappear

Thinking of her subtle brown eyes

Makes it feel likes she's watching me

The sorrow she feels casts a tear
From the deepest part of me

Where is sleep? When your heart leaks so remorsefully

Love doesn't live here

I reaped that from the bad parts you see

Wishing I could renew what was already lost at sea

Moving on will be hardest because our story ended with a question mark

So life will go on depending upon the next time we meet so far

But I can't deny you will always have my heart
