Separated Heart

Separated Heart

A Poem by Boricua Justice

The closer you come to my mind the farther i you push away

Hurt formed in ah elusive way

No more excuses today...

why are we always fighting?

the farther I push you away this love that we used to portray

Ties deep within my soul so i cry in a unethical place

Alone with my thoughts so I'm standing here with a smile on my face

Everyone doesn't knw my struggle is far from being replaced

with a unconscious thought that I will make it in some type of way

Blatant disregard for the people who pray for my  peace

Wondering......

Will this ever catch up to me?

Asking god will I ever finally get my wings

Or will I struggle with the same pain

that has distanced me from family and friends

An all the women that I cared for always ended up wanting to be friends

realizing it was hard to orchestrate another me

Telling thereself they were really better off without me
