We are the best of friends 

Closer than anyone I know

But there is a catch

I want to be closer

But you only wish to remain the way we are

But I don't think you understand how I really feel

Yes you know that I want to be more than friends

But do you know how I feel in my heart

That you are the only one I can be with

I see all these others in my life

Why do they get to be happy

The one who gets to be close to you

But deep inside I can never accept that
