Fall (Autumn)A Poem by Adam FaisonThis is the third in a series of four poems about the four seasons.
Autumn is only a practice for nature
A final chance to prepare for the Winter Yet to Come Man and nature alike must gather supplies to survive Nature must sacrifice some to gain some later The trees lose their friends But their friends had changed their colors They weren't who they were anymore A small population of plants start to fade away The cold rises as Winter creeps upon us The Prophesy of Spring is told That nature shall gain back it's lost brothers The animals hide their selves from a cold fate Some fly away as it approaches Others must stay to protect their homes And as Autumn closes it's eyes once more Man and nature peep to see a White Demon approaching At the final moment Autumn closes it's eyes fully shut And the White Demon is unleashed upon the land
