SpringA Poem by Adam FaisonThis is the first in a series of four poems about the four seasons.
Clouds overfill the sky
Darkness falls over the land Sadness fills the air The land still ravaged from the Winter Past Thunder rolls across the sky Droplets of rain fall onto the ground Happiness slowly rises from the dirt A colorful arrangement of plants start to arise The leaves on the trees slowly bud back out And out of nowhere Light bursts from the clouds The powerful rays of the sun speeds the growth of the happiness Peaceful silence rises as the happiness spreads The smells of Present Spring show clearly But it lasts not For the heat will become to much And the storms only lay in the horizon With Summer Yet to Come
