Reminiscence: Triggers

Reminiscence: Triggers

A Poem by Don
"

Just some of the things that I think about during my late-night walks.

"

Reminiscence:  Triggers

At four A.M.,

Far off vehicles,

Mournful,

Echo into the night.

I am strangely comforted

By the cadence they provide.

Memories, so vivid--

A favorite game, a favorite program.

Childhood friends,

That I no longer know.

Where are they?

Do they, too, reminisce?

Or have their memories faded

away?

About
Reading and writing have always been forms of escapism for me. Some days, I would much rather be engrossed in a story, be it my own or from someone else--I am sure many people can relate to this. .. more..
