Wind triggered pale dust clouds in the streets of Baghdad.

Case: 'The MySpace websites of dead soldiers are upsetting the home front.'

Burke: 'I'll bet.' Burke poked the barrel of the M1 240 around the corner of the building and fired
a blind burst.

Case: 'So, no more MySpace for soldiers.'

Burke's cheek brushed the cinder block wall. He eased his head around the corner.

Gunshot!

Burke's head exploded.

Case looked at the spurting red dish of Burke's skull; bone shards glistened in Iraq.

Case giggled-- bent.

Case: 'Burke's head space is my space. Burke's head space is our space.
