Bad EmotionsA Poem by Yue ZhangThese are some old poems I found. I wrote them before I entered high school.
Hatred
Upon the highest place sits a secret disgrace, of sinful passion and crime, unveiled, fleeing desperately into the darkened world, hoping to seek a wandering host. Never knowing what was, never finding out what is. This tiny secret starts at the tip, then slowly corrupts everything, morally decaying as we fall victim to that lustful desire. Frustration Tear after tear, dripping like a broken facet. A suffocating hunger to let it all out at once. To scream, to kick, to punch... nothing will come out of such behavior. Better to let it slowly drown than to set it free. Dismay How can you smile so happily? When your heart is slowly chipping away. How can you speak so casually? When you know that you have been betrayed. How can you forgive so effortlessly? When he purposely pierced you so cruelly. How can you forget so easily? When you know you will never be the same.
