Summary

Kate was expecting a great summer trip to California with her best friends.She wanted to get a tan,drink some ice cold lemonade,and relax.It was supposed to be fun,and a great summer vacation.After all,flying is the safest way to travel.Life has a way of turning things around completely.Her plane get's caught in an unexplainable thunderstorm,the radio doesn't respond,and worst of all the pilot disappeared.Kate,finds herself stranded and lost in an island that's not even on the maps.Little does she know that the island isn't as isolated as it seems.While exploring,she crosses paths with the most handsome guy she has ever met and falls completely in love with him.He's mysterious,sweet,kind,but sometimes his eyes show a different story.They're is just a small problem.He wasn't a passenger.He doesn't have a pulse.He's a Vrykolaka,vampire.
