an idea of DreamsA Story by Anne HudsonThis is an idea of dreams. It's not a story, just an idea about dreams and how they are accomplished by working for them. It's just an idea that I've thought of, one that could be used for anything
If you want a dream to come true then you must work for it.
Now, this isn't work work. It could be working as in jut asking that one time and it coming true. It could also be work we all think about, day after day hard labor to complete the dream. It could be just everyday work, going about our day and just doing the same routine. Dreams all need work, especially when it seems like it didn't take any work at all. To have that dream you had to think about it. To think about it you had to actually think, force your brain cells to work. To do that you had to have had an idea and get it from a situation or a saying or seeing something or anything. To get to there, that ment eating, sleeping, walking, talking, listening, learning, singing, playing, growing, writing, pronouncing, emphasizing, reading, dancing, exploring, thinking, running, jumping, yelling, anything. And every single thing that's there and every single other thing that's not, includes work. You had to have the dream to actually get the dream. You had to have it in your head to actually get the dream physically. Now that's for real dreams, dreams in our world that's, in terms, possible. But what about impossible dreams. Now those take not more work, just a little longer of time. Nothing's impossible. You can teach a fish to do tricks. You can learn to speak a language that's not even real or written down. You can fly without an airplane. You can invent the flying car of the future. You can be able to turn invisible. You can teleport. Really, everything that children dream and want and imagine and believe in. Adults have all of those dreams too, they all do. But would they come and admit it. That's another discussion but for now you know what 'impossible' dreams are. But those all are possible. I can imagine myself flying. I see clouds and islands and so many people who aren't at all visible because I'm so high up. How'd I do that? I took what I've seen before, like from my own experience and flying on an airplane looking down through the window. Or from pictures from high above on news reports and our famous Google. I had to work to imagine that. Now that's not truly being an able to fly without an airplane or jetpack or some weird machine, but it's real to me. I felt the wind on my face, the birds calling beside me, the smell of trees and rain if I got too close. Now it took work to make that dream come true. I had to remember about te airplane, and in subtitle I had to first get on that airplane and walk there and talk and speak and run if you have my family's plans of getting there 'on time' and I had to remember that. And the tree's smell and the rain's drops, I had to walk there and feel the rain or walk through the foret or hop into the car to drive over there. It took work to accomplish that. It doesn't seem like it, not at all, but it took work. And actually, probably more then if I physically was flying solely myself. Now you all see this as not completing a dream. Let's talk about this shall we? What is completing a dream? Actually doing it? Physically accomplishing it? Having somone watch me do it and see eveything I see? Think about a kid. They run and jump with a blanket tied around their neck, hopping on tables and chairs and yelling they were flying. We don't see that. but don't they? See, accomplishing an impossible dream isn't always physically with someone able to see it. It's you being able to see it. I turned invisible just then, but did you see it? I did. I was gone. That's how people get over stage fright. It's one of the methods and it's actually one of my methods. I dislike being on stage, it's terrifying. But if I picture myself not being here, you all not seeing me, I have confidence. But impossible dreams, especially impossible dreams, take work. It doesn't ever take more work then a said possible dream it just takes a little longer. Dreams are accomplished not to us. Not to the person who's watching or waiting or observing. The person who's working for the dream is the only one who sees it. That little kid feeling so happy because he's flying sees him doing the impossible. He doesn't care about what others see. Not at all. He only cares about what he sees and everything in between. Now, when I was younger. I would watch everyone. And one day I stopped, and I said to myself that I wanted to learn and understand how minds work. I have never been able to even meet someone who has mastered that yet but I've been able to know and, I guess you could say, master one thing about minds. We all cherish dreams and we all ask and wish for the dreams we want. And we all work for dreams. The possible ones and the 'impossible' ones. We all work for our dreams. Remember that. Even if it's just asking for it that one time, or spending day after day doing only what is for it you work for your dream. To make a dream come true, you work. © 2014 Anne HudsonAuthor's Note
