He doesn't love you...

He doesn't love you...

A Poem by Soraya Austen

Darling, he doesn't care for you anymore.
He has made it clear that talking to you is a chore.
He won't say those words but hinted it quite plainly,
That he doesn't want you and that caused so much pain.

Beautiful girl, he may have broke your heart,
But the world is full of men and he is only a part.
He may have left you broken, bruised, and blue,
Yet you are strong, amazing, and beautiful too!

Gorgeous woman, let the man walk out of your life.
Yes, i know it hurts for a time and your heart took a knife.
But you are worthy of more than his pitiful words,
The ones that dripped in honey but were utterly absurd.

Sweet lady, you know you deserve better.
So why hold back waiting for him to write a letter?
He was sweet, he was kind, he was a dream
But quickly all you ever did was scream.

So darling move on, delete him from your world,
He isn't worthy of living in a palace full of emerald.
Let him go, let him be, and do not respond.
You need a better, sweeter, and romantic bond.

Keep your ways and find a man who appreciates you,
Because this boy who said he did, ended up lying too.
Be a hopeless romantic, with your Jane Austen ideals.
The right man will come along and it will be real.

Words of wisdom from a senior to a younger person., that's how this poem comes across. My own granddaughter is nursing a broken heart. First love can hurt like hell when it ends. Written one myself on the same topic. I enjoyed reading your work. Your stanzas are nicely composed. Thank you.

Chris
