Thanks to an old friend

Hi guys,

I used to have a friend.

For whatever reason, I don't really talk to them anymore, but they got me back into writing, and that is something I will never forget. As a kid, I didn't have anyone to read what I wrote, so I quit writing, but then they came along and I got back into it after they introduced me to social networks for writers, and read my stories themselves.

I don't post my stories right now, but I'm still writing. They don't read anything by me anymore, but I remember the days I would pour countless pages out (not that I was any good back then) in hopes that they would think my stories were good.

I don't talk to them anymore, but the impact they had on my life will be forever with me. I want to thank them, and this is the only way I know how. So please, read their story:
