DAY THIRTHY-FIVE

Day thirty-five

It has been a while. It had been safer at the military base, as expected. The base hadn’t been attacked so far and for that we were all thankful. Although more and more soldiers were called to battle and a soon my dad would leave. He’d go to battle the sick and die a hero.

 

I had taken it upon myself to train. I would spend my days either in the gym or sleeping and my nights breaking in in the shooting simulator. I knew it was not allowed but the soldiers that were always on guard had secretly respected my courage and will to train myself to fight those monsters. To be able to defend myself and my family.
