Chaos

Another night here,

Sleepless.

Despite how long I lay in this bed,

With you stuck in my head.

There is so much I need to say,

But I have no words to give.

Shaken by the choices I've made,

Nothing quiets this chaos in my mind.

Only this expression of guilt shows on my face,

As regret courses through my veins.

So far from my grasp,

I cling to what little I have left

As your love fades more and more.

Given the chance I'd take it all back,

Every time I made you cry,

Every time you heard me lie.

Take back these days I've spent without you,

I no longer want to be alone

Forgive me and know that whatever may come

With me you'll always have a home.
