Once Again

Once Again

A Poem by Bonnie Paige

     Once Again

Behind my door of solid steel, it locked, key hidden safely far away.  I escaped into my peaceful world far from love’s desires and entanglements.

Silver and gray marks my thousand dreams upon this earth.  Gone are fairy tale

romances - looks of wanting from breathless sights of you.  Lost forever are those magical words

“I love you.”

But...the world is full of new ideas.  A platform solely futuristic brings the distance closer.

Lovers entangled in cyberspace desires.  The unreal becomes reality - bringing

visions of everyday life.

Silly, romantic, sexy, senseless words of cheer drift into the icloud of modern day adventures.

GOOD-BYE once sadly said so long ago.  I set free that one thing I so loved. Then absorbed by time and distance.

Through the window of my cyber world - that which was set free...returned.  To laugh, to joke, to

say sweet words of comfort, to chase the demons, to teach, to come alive.   With our vociferation, I am off flying here and flying there - a million words between us - just to keep each other company.

WE SHOULDN’T HAVE BEEN THERE.

In the silence of the darken night the door slowly unlocked.  So gently slid the emotions to my body and my soul.  I should not have opened my eyes to you.  Unaware by morning light I’d fallen once again to the ecstasy of your hold on me.

I can only wonder the thoughts of God, to reignite a once lost loves desire. Perhaps a joke, needed laughter, sanity lost, on a boring day in heaven?

Why wasn't this wonder of words read and reviewed by people wandering up and down a tome of language gently, honestly set! The entire world seems to live in here, at least part.time.. but.. So, this reader reads your poetic past, sighing at thoughts, eyebrowing this and that, wondering what before, mourning the later.. and then, at end the unseen farewell, applause whispered. Better reach out and turn the pages than dream too much, dear Bonnie,

Did you leave, stay away, return and i missed you or .. have you been hiding.. not my business but..

Take care, keep safe.. you writing still holds magic.
