“In Mickey’s Day”

He used to work with hay

When was this? He doesn't say.

If I were to guess, oh my!

Although, Mickey Mouse would never lie

In his spare time, he made up words like “Zay”

His friends were letters; he was K.

But then one weary day,

A storm came sweeping by

In Mickey’s day.

Everything was now his way!

His bouncy gloves wrapped around where the inheritance lay.

He exclaimed he would never die,

Sitting back with one long sigh.

It all happened in the month of May

In Mickey’s day.

I've done my research on Mickey, glad to see that someone else knows the Mouse's power hungry past.

Sounds great. I always knew there was something wrong with that rat.
