<b>BWS:</b> I was thinking back to a CSI episode I had seen. I have the first season on DVD, so I watched it a few days ago, and there was an episode where a homeless man was forced to flip pictures in front of an ATM camera, and Grissom was talking about doves. And then...I just kinda wrote whatever came to mind ^.^ Enjoy.

He should have known better. He really should have.
She wasn’t one to be tamed. She had a fiery spirit, reminding him of a beautiful, wild filly.
She accepted him for who he was. What he was. Completely. And that should have been enough.
But he just held on too tight.
The fire that burned in her obsidian eyes was too bright; it was untamable.
He treated her too delicately. He was afraid, that, if he held on too tight, like a dove, she’d forget how to fly and it would cause her to perish. Too loose, and she’d fly away.
But she wasn’t a dove. She was a fiery-spirited filly, a wild flame that couldn’t be tamed. She needed her space. So he held her a little loosely.
And she flew.
