TapestryA Poem by bonemanA tapestry of love and of hearts is picked apart thread by thread until all that is left are tangled strands.
Tapestry
A tower with pennants fair
A tapestry is woven
A heart in silken threads
Delicate as a sigh
The tower is falling
The pennants half mast
The tapestry is fading
The silk unfurled
Do you mourn?
As you unpick the silk
As it lies in tatters
Do you cry?
The tapestry lies in pieces
A heart unsewn
A love unfurled
Do you mourn?
