Lessons Learned

Lessons Learned

A Poem by Bohrium Guy
"

Age becomes wisdom and searching becomes irrelevant.

"

So many years I took each lesson,

Learned to deny everything given.

Faces came and went in succession,

Each story gave new pages so driven.

Each bite I took I swallowed divine,

Every mouthful sweet and some bitter.

Little lies and some truth all intertwine,

Love and anger like trash or kitty litter.

Like pages in a book slowly they turned,

Each contained words without meaning.

My heart and soul lost never was earned,

Just a shell remains forever I am dreaming.

But now I have learned it is alright alone,

I have me to contend with and no other.

I am my master and keeper of my throne,

I am calm and content without a lover.

Powerful work and has great symbolism.

this reminds me of a song called ~ trust my lonely
you have captured a battle between lost hope and remembered pain.
my favorite line was: "Love and anger like trash and or litter."
{trash has intention to throw away. litter found could have been accidentally dropped. with no intention of letting go. just slipped out of one's pocket. perhaps.}
