When you boast externally, you are the one that lives within nightmares when you sleep.

Stay awake don't fall into a deep sleep,

Your illusions you've painted will creep.

Claiming such beauty, loyalty above all,

Their all nipping at your feet have a ball.

Tell tales of lust and creed falling on you,

How they want you or what they will do.

How cold and abscessed you need no one,

Reality is hard your emotions you've done.

Walk with a stride you think you're perfect,

Mind playing tricks as you struggle respect.

Remember this your see-thru to me and lies,

Nightmares come so don't close your eyes.

There is a lot said here. Illusions do bite into reality and leads us to a false sense of self. Sometimes its so powerful that we struggle with it. An exaggerated sense of perfection can become a nightmare. So yes, it seems a good suggestion not to close ones eyes. Thank you.
