Her Last WordsA Poem by Bohrium GuyRemember the last thing Spoken....Her Last Words
Heartbroken as I nearly died for real, Her heart cold, unfeeling without repeal. I brought her the things she had asked, Hiding my feelings taped and masked.
My home, our house together we shared, Now another man's pleasure she cared. For us, I was tossed away like the trash, She was now happy with her man in stash.
As I walked out the door one final time, I spoke from my heart the words sublime. I said “I love you” as I was slowly leaving, She replied “I love you too” in deceiving. Then came the blow heavy in spoken thirds, “Sorry, I didn't mean those last words”. © 2018 Bohrium GuyFeatured Review
