Choose the path you now would stand

You choose your life and misery

Your errors for all can see

Saying they loved with all their heart

For those who turned away

Still live with feelings torn apart

For those who turned away

I gave to you all that I had

Hiding secrets was so bad

For those who turned away

Your fear and search shall remain

For those who turned away

I had the love that truly would sustain….

I love the searching quality of each couplet, altho I am not a fan of using a repeating line so much in any poem. Your pondering statements are nicely selected to be thought-provoking, not too strongly suggesting any particular interpretation, but leaving things in the reader's control.

There are a number of grammatical errors which felt distracting to me, so I'll detail them here if you don't mind . . .
Lines 4, 6, & 8: "you're" should be "your"
Line 10: "they're" should be "their"
