My Hilltop Thinking

Just passing some deep thoughts and thinking a bit.

I sat upon a rock watching the setting sun,

Thinking of my life and the battles I have won.

The ups and downs I faced in each and every way,

The feelings and emotions felt each passing day.

How I watched the glory of being together as one,

The pain of being alone again and feeling I am done.

The trials of thought and of every side of blame

In the outcome the ending is still the same.

Not knowing if it was me or just a given fact,

Sitting alone this hilltop I lost my happiness track.

I know I am not the bad man that you seem to see,

Just a victim of love in a world of loveless insanity.
