The Wait

When waiting drives you friggin nuts!!!!!

Bound by love and promise two wait anxiously

To rest the fears about and start off romantically

She waits for the date for him to arrive in town

He fights to get answers when he can get down

Still the pressures both will endure to remain

As love and patience they both will so sustain

Keeping in touch hearts still strongly survive

Keeping their love and all admiration's alive

The day will come when hugs will be so real

And their hearts will be set to make up the deal

Till then its a lovers waiting game of some sort

Lets hope for the two the time given will be short

I think of those who have loved ones away in the military or who work on ships for months at a time. How wonderful the reunions must be! Yet there is the waiting in between. The befores and afters of life tend to be the insanity of the calms we endure until the winds of change and opportunity sail us into the arms of love.
