Steel chains and a leash they hold

Tugging at your esteem very bold

Control to make them feel at home

While you sit and cry a yard gnome

Freedom comes with a price a day

True love comes whispers away

Happiness can be forsaken true

The choice to remain is up to you

Someone standing hand extended

Offering you a life recommended

To being you and a living dream

Of calm and self worth esteem

It was your calling there was a reason

Something drew you from the treason

Don't fear you'll die if you float to play

What's needed is for you is to break away

Someone waits with open arms....

I think this will read a little differently to different readers for sure. To me, I read how one usually is binding there own potential in life. We rob ourselves of happiness with limiting belief systems...
