Cold Steel

Cold Steel

A Poem by Bohrium Guy
"

Just my thoughts for today...

"

Once I shined like a polished saber sword

Going places, doing things I could afford

Now feeling useless so helpless deep inside

No more luster I have all taken in sad stride

Left lying still across a great battle field

No more knight movement should I wield

Rusting and old discarded left silently alone

While masters and kings take on the throne

Funny how destiny takes it greatest hold

Leaving the swords rusting and useless old

While waiting to crumble decaying in rust

Hoping for quickness that I be only dust

For I did my swing and fierce battle I lay

Fighting the battles of other riches dismay

Now I am tossed left to my own sentence

Paying the price of others grand penitence

Though this is a deep right, your strength and nobility keeps you gallant and humble
