Love as a Chess GameA Poem by Bohrium GuySome abstract writing I done relating love to objects then to poemThe Chess Game of love has some new jewels Let’s lay it out so everyone can grasp the rules The object to win is the love that will so greatly bind The pieces will be said and the thought well defined
The Pawns are the problems and hurdles we face That makes life bumpy while we move into a space One by one they are shoved in to some action Playing a move in hopes to make a bad reaction
The Knights are not straight the move by a horse They tell a story and in some case a due course Taking the Pawns and removing them with might Allowing the two hearts a great chance to unite
The Rooks are the homes separate acting as one Soon to be together bringing both under one sun Carefully built and cared poured into the stone Soon to have two chairs and only one throne
The Bishop his duty well all should be known To maintain God’s rules and love to be shown To insure the bound its here to stay forever The ties that are made no splits or to sever
The King is the man a stern rule of force A giver of love that carries its duty course The voice when she can’t speak to stern The loving hand when sadness takes turn
The queen with her beauty and love so fair Leaving a touch with love and no despair Bringing in softness and filling kings heart Making the life so much the boards part
The Chess Game of Love the winners so grand Playing till the end and the two make a stand Two hearts two loves and a life they shall hold Growing with age watching the children get old
Once they are gone the kids that so remain Set on love and so well carry on the game There are no judges no awards to be given The Chess Game of love is life’s good liven © 2015 Bohrium GuyFeatured Review
