Follow Your Heart

When hard choices occur there is only one thing to follow...

Tears running down the sides of her cheeks

Hurt, and frustrations lingering for weeks

Tales of untruths caused a torn relation

Two hearts being thrown in to separation

I glimmer of hope a distant longing to be

A shadow, a flicker of knightly gallantry

Shedding some hope of removing fences

Beckoning mutual thoughts in consensus

Now with a choice stands like a solid wall

One or the other which one should fall

Risking the ideas or staying the old course

Will it become a decision of more remorse

The endearing fact should be the weight

Was love the equation or just a night mate

How can one choose ideas set blindly apart

Only thing that matters is following your heart
