A Chance

Did you walk with me hand in hand

Get to know me or try to understand

Did you listen to my heart beat inside

Share in my feelings where I reside

Did you listen when I said I care

Hold me closely without compare

Brush away the tears when I failed

Trusted in me when we both sailed

Did you stay at my side when sick

Or leave me dead for another trick

People fall in trying to give away

Love, laughter and romance sway

Yet all I see is a reader of screens

Simple notations emotionless seams

False claims of love and intentions

Heartless metaphors no extensions

Your always scared to try to see

There might be more to me

I might be the knight in white

But your frozen still in the night
