Take Me Back

That place of yesterday....

Take me back to the time when still people cared

The place of fun and where people aren't scared

A time and a place where the laughs were true

Where stars and moon shined all the night thru

Where love and admiration made settings shine

And hearts and feelings we held deep in divine

Where people just had those good times as a crowd

Where passion and emotions were always allowed

Take me back when holding hands meant something

And not a one night stand or a moment spent fling

Where people truly cared about each other in arms

And life didn't impose the unlucky distant charms

Where we looked at each other and felt the passion

Our hearts melted and no one provided distraction

But today the world has changed and grew to cold

Bitter and angry and no passions inside to behold
