A Poem by BohoWrites
"

It's about a relationship changing.

"
Why must I reach out
Doesn’t your phone work
Mine does but life is rushing by
Maybe yours is too

I want to reach out but I always do
Maybe this is the testament to what we are
Maybe we were convenient

You dealt with me and I did what I do best
I gave
Buying things to buy a person to listen
Was this me repeating my past
Am I doomed to remain in a cycle

A cycle of giving too much
I won’t say you never gave
Because you did
You gave what I needed

But then why are we silent
Why are we not obligated to stay in contact
Do we care
It doesn’t feel like we do
Maybe we did

But time apart has finally proved we don’t
I hope it’s not true
But if it is then,

Then I’m wishing you nothing less than the best
I’m wishing that you have peace and happiness
I’m wishing you have no bad days and it doesn’t rain.
I’m wishing that only people who love you will surround you.

And if time passes and we cross paths
I pray we can look at each other and only remember the good
Only remember the days we cried together and the laughs we shared were never forgotten..
