Unsung Lies

Unsung Lies

A Poem by Gifted
"

In this poem i describe the hardships of war and of soldiers. Please leave feedback.

"
Run short; the day had
Cold winds of twilight
My efforts it thwarted
Despite it's efforts I continued

On my back my gun hung
A bona fide proposition
Or so it seemed; unsung heros
Obdurate cowards; false ambition

Kill for a medal
Purgatory posthumously
Forever bound to soil
So coward soals may benefit
