My First EP - "The Protege Begins"

This is the idea behind my EP, a five song demo that will f*****g rock the goddamn world.

The Protege Begins

Basically. this is how you have to enter yourself into the rap game. not only an image, but a persona as well. a way to say what you want to say without actually saying it. poetry. this is the story of protege basically. a little snippet into my fucked up reality and view on the world. my life, told by me, from both of my halves. I wanna have an intro, five songs, and a skit, making it a 7 track EP.

The intro has to relate to the story that's about to unfold, the opening statement, a "we were somewhere around barstow when the drugs began to take hold". that might be a good little sample in there. yeah. start with a sample of maybe "the choice is yours" by black sheep. but how to tell the story of protege, of ryan roswurm, of me. hmmm. start with "i'm going to kansas city" by fats domino.

Track one- Intro:

start off with the clarksdale moan song

I'm going to kansas city, is being played in a car ride,

biggie's everyday struggle sampled with "all the money i stacked, was all the money for bail"

i'm going to kc heard playing in a jukebox in a bar, where protege plays for his first time.

Track two - Here ya go:

at my first concert, what is the first song i want to perform infront of people, what will make them be like, holy s**t, he is a legit mc, his music it dope as s**t too. he brings it. he is an mc.

gotta explain myself, my name. my life. what i'm about.

basically, a welcome to my world.

why am i rapping?

i've been f*****g pushed to do this.

i've been through s**t.

s****y jail.

drugs.

i gotta get out of this rut. i am a product of my enviornment
