Typical College Essay

A Poem by Hunter Zabbai

Your dreams denied on a bed you do not have. Paper schemes don't exclusively use black and white, as I write this: "return to sender in november" aimlessly collecting what I cannot remember. Valiant Youth desperately questing for truth apparently it's already there. It was the Detentions, the after-school Special Getting all the Tickets and learning how to Wrestle The L i n e s, the Recitals, and the Love/Denials From pullin' up your huggies to Walking down the Aisle It's the fights you had, or didn't It's all the people, who'da thunk you'd ever miss em'? (seriously though) Friday nights goin' out after the game Pure ignorant Youth, what the hell is shame? Smokin' some good ones and blaring the tunes Those are the only moments of truth. And that is all I'm, all I'm gonna need.
