Die for a philosophy? Die!

Die for a philosophy? Die!

A Poem by Hunter Zabbai
"

Lie naked on the flood, and let the Messiah go through our souls!

"
Sometimes it seems to me, we all know what to say. But, these words are merely words. They can go onto the paper and make a huge impact, or can get lost in translation between air waves.

They say if you never lie, you never have to play dumb.

I support the veterans against the war.

The reason we have problems is the lack of empathy. Empathetic people are weak people. People with human emotions are p*****s. F**k them. They don't know what they're talking about. If people could relate things to themselves on a personal level. However, they think their feet are just too f*****g big to fit in someone elses shoes. And plus they probably smell, and aren't as luxurious as theirs.

War isn't inevitable. It just happens. Like s**t. Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Competance was once sought after. It is required, but no longer desired, therefore, no longer required. Times change, and people do to. We're all just pimps and prostitutes.

There is no such thing as complacency. There is no such thing as nihilism. These are excuses.

Progress must be progressive.

Idols don't need worship; they have themselves.

GO F*****G BE USEFUL.

Rod Mckuen wrote in a song that, " Soldiers who want to be heroes number practically zero/ but there are millions who want to be civilians." That was in 1970 or so. It takes courage to think for ourselves and not just follow the leader, to seek the truth and not just a repetition of things others believe. People will stake their souls on a book and have no idea of its authors. It is a bit like building one's life around a lie or a mass hypnosis. Why? I think its because they want to be accepted. But what good is acceptance if we are being accepted for being just like everyone else? I believe in a higher truth manifested through creation and nature but lifted by ideals of mercy, brother/sisterhood, tolerance, charity, honor, hope, peace, encouragement, strength and service. I do not think God needs my help, lip service or my money. I do believe that it is right to help anyone I can simply because I can and that to do service, to have mercy, to offer a meal or a blanket to anyone is a help to my own soul. Loving and giving makes life worthwhile. You take the cynical standpoint here to reflect your distaste of apathy. The governments and religions go on fighting each other because they are not individuals...they are a set of rules, laws, books and seats of power and wealth. The powers that be intend to go on getting richer and more powerful, gaining more support from the blind following the blind. No man is an island but every man should have a voice in his own destiny. To do that, we all must learn to think and feel for ourselves while respecting the thoughts and feelings of others. You make a good point for that here.
